Description: This is an silk and some metallic embroidery with Batik patterned cotton material recreation of a  woman playing music. The instrument is Pipa. This image is exaggerated and abstracted from traditional folklore. The elegance of this girl playing Pipa and bright color combination create a beautiful image. It is Yunnan style of Sothern China. The heavy stitches formed the patterns greatly.

This is fine piece of embroidery with Batik patterns--palm trees, on the cotton fabric. Some metallic stitches made this piece shine some and attractive. Different kind of techniques were needed for finishing up this piece.
