Description: This is an silk and some metallic embroidery with Batik patterned cotton material recreation of a  woman holding a baby. The image is exaggerated and abstracted from traditional folklore. Gentle love of mom to her daughter was manifested well. It is Yunnan style of Sothern China. The heavy stitches formed the patterns greatly.

This is fine piece of embroidery with Batik patterns--palm trees, on the cotton fabric. Some metallic stitches made this piece shine some and attractive. Different kind of techniques were needed for finishing up this piece.
