This is an embroidery recreation of a famous oil painting from famous painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841-1919). Renoir always took simple pleasure in whatever met his good-humored attention, but he refused to let what he saw dominate what he wanted to paint. He deliberately set out to give the impression, or the sensation of something. This is a random stitch used especially for oil paintings. Notice that hair and skirt of the girl are so well stitched that you couldn't make your mind whether this is a painting or embroidery. Her eyes are peaceful and thoughtful. The figure is graceful and nice. You can see every detail of her hair. The leaves in the background are amazingly done and look real.

It is a masterpiece of silk embroidery.
