Description: This is an embroidery recreation of a famous Chinese fairy-tale. The eight Celestial Beings met at Penglai once and decided to cross the East Ocean by using their magic power. The East Dragon King gathered West, Southern and Northern Dragon Kings and made strong wind and waves and they fought each other. A Bodhisattva from the South passed by and mediated the fight.

This fine piece of embroidery is with a rich and varied background. It shows a complicated fairy-tale from ancient China. It is colorful and there is lots of stitching involved. This is a well stitched piece of embroidery. Chinese artists are good at combining poetry, calligraphy, paintings and stamps, even some empty spaces perfectly together. All the Chinese characters and stamps were embroidered well here too.
