Description:

This is a metallic & silk thread embroidery piece of two lovely birds. One of the birds is flying to another one standing on a tree branch around flowers.

This piece needed special techniques and stitches (Couching Stitch) to embroider on the satin materials with the golden metallic thread. Metallic thread are harder than silk thread, so we lay metallic thread along with the design and couch on them by silk floss thread. The finished embroidery art would look shiny metallic image at front side and silk embroidery image at the back side. Two sides images all look nicely but we still consider it is single sided embroidery.
