Description:

This is an embroidery recreation of a country style cottage with small river scene. Random stitches were used for the tree leaves and grass. The details of reflections in the water are handled well. Few small boats on the water, and one person was working on the boat. The cottages look simple with some pets around. We have two pieces of this scene but with different frames. Art sizes are same.

It is something we had tried more recently. Hand & machine random, also other stitches combined for oil painting look efforts. The image looks more dimensional from distance than close-up. Heavy and strong stitches make the whole art piece lifelike and mighty. It brings different experience of silk embroidery art to the world.
