Description: This is an embroidery recreation of a pavilion at the foothill of famous Yuelu Mountains in Hunan, southern of China. Mao Zie Dong (Leader of China decades ago) used to read and relax there. Yuelu mountains have beautiful scenery and many famous scholars gathering there historically.
This embroidery piece used some random and straight stitches for the leaves. Straight stitches for the grass and heavy stitches for the pavilion. The details on stones, the structures of the pavilion, the trees behind the pavilion and even some sky appearing between the trees were exquisitely done well. Green represent youthful vigor and red represent festivity. All of those strively showed the natural beauty of the pavilion and surroundings.
