This is an embroidery recreation of a woods scene. Luxuriant trees with thick trunks and dense leaves were captured. The details of leaves, highlights and shadows form sunlight hit on trees, grass and soil on the ground, and the cured branches all were amazingly done well. It is a countryside scene with full of grandeur.

It is something we had tried more recently. Hand & machine random, also other stitches combined for oil painting look efforts. The image looks more dimensional from distance than close-up. Heavy and strong stitches make the whole art piece lifelike and mighty. It brings different experience of silk embroidery art to the world.
