This is an embroidery recreation of a scene from famous Yellow River. There were so many stories about Yellow River and it became important part in Chinese history. The river can be calm but torrent sometimes. This silk embroidery displayed the water fall from rocks and gave a magnificent sight. The arrangement for water fall and shadows from the sunlight were manifested well.

It is something we had tried more recently. Hand & machine random, also other stitches combined for oil painting look efforts. The image looks more dimensional from distance than close-up. Heavy and strong stitches make the whole art piece lifelike and mighty. It brings different experience of silk embroidery art to the world.
