Description:

This is an embroidery recreation of a Rooster with Peony flowers and some willow tree at background. Roosters are the symbolic of "good luck and prosperity" (the characters at right top means that). This rooster has red colors for his upper body and dark feather on his tail. His head turned elegantly and feather on his tails lifted up firmly with pride. The rooster postured proudly. Peony flowers are blossoming. Red, pink and green colors combined a joyful, traditional Chinese good luck image.

You will notice that feather are three-dimensional and detailed. They were finished one piece and then another. The petals or leaves of flowers were done that way too. The whole image looks bright and colorful. There are tiny stitches for the eyes to make them look round and alive.
