This is an embroidery recreation of two pigeons with Peony flowers. Different colors were used for the leaves and Peony flowers. Flowers look bright and detailed with black background and they reached out through the pane and served as a foil to pigeons. The pigeons' personalities, feather and their postures are precise and minute. The close and numerous stitches are exquisite, solid, pleasant and harmonious. It is one edition only piece. The feather were done wonderfully. The characters at left top corner mean "wealthy and auspicious" and the stamp means "Xiang Embroidery Fine Work:.

This is a very nicely done embroidery piece with extra thin silk threads. It can be considered as a elite embroidery art piece and were heavy stitched. The bird's feather are dimensional and it looks lifelike.
